The Cooling Technologies product line utilizes advanced absorption technologies to provide thermally activated temperature control. The Cooltec family of products provides efficient, temperature controlled environments to the residential and light commercial markets.

Thermal energy sources that may be used to drive the absorption process include, but are not limited to; natural gas, propane, micro-turbine exhaust, thermal solar, recycled oil and fuel cells. The technology is also compatible with alternative energy sources.

The company has a patent-pending co-firing process which enables the product to accommodate multiple thermal sources. A typical application of this technology would be propane firing (supplemental or complete) in a thermal-solar installation when the solar source is inadequate.

Founded in 1996, Cooling Technologies is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, with manufacturing based in Johnstown, Ohio.
